He, however, warned Nigerians never to fall into the lies of the ruling party as the 2023 general election approaches.

Why Nigerians must vote out APC in 2023

The governor, while flagging off of the Etche campus of the Rivers state University at Abara community in Etche local government area of the state, said the APC has nothing to show for.

He stated:

“Our government can be seen daily commissioning projects and working for the progress of the state but the other party in the state has nothing to show.

“We have a report of projects and progress while their report card is about the killing of people across the country.”

PM News also reports that Wike stated that the establishment of multiple campuses of the university was to achieve part of the vision of the founding fathers of the university.

He noted that the establishment of campuses in other local government areas of the state was to stimulate development and create access to education.

APC has nothing to show as achievements in six years

Wike boasted that, unlike APC, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) makes promises and commits to fulfilling them without giving excuses.

The governor added that his administration is on the first phase of 45 days of project flag-off and commissioning that is unprecedented in the history of the country.

He stated:

“You know the difference between us and them, is that you can see us every day, moving from one local government to another. It is either we are flagging off or commissioning projects.

“They are not doing so because there’s nothing for them to do. They don’t have anything to show too. We started on the 27th of May, 2021 and we will end the first phase on 10th of July 2021.”
