Antonio Conte is advanced talks with Premier League club Inter Milan as he looks to become their new manager, Daily Mail.

Spurs have been without a boss since the sacking of Jose Mourinho and former player Curtis Davies took over as caretaker coach.

On the other hand, Conte resigned barely days after winning the Scudetto with Inter following disagreement with club president Steven Zhang.

The 49-year-old boss broke the nine-year domination of Juventus in Serie A to win the league title with a few games left to play.

Spurs finished seventh in the league at the just concluded season but will play in the round rubbing stages of the Europa League for next season.

Conte qualified Inter to Europa League final in the 2019-20 season and lost out to Sevilla in the final in his first campaign with the Nerazzurri.

The former Italy national team coach also helped Chelsea to a Premier League title and FA Cup in his two seasons at Stamford Bridge before he was sent packing.

Conte’s resume in English football is something to write home about as the task at hand would be to win a trophy for Londonners if he is appointed as their new manager.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Antonio Conte has parted ways with Inter Milan after helping them win their first Serie A title in over a decade.

The Italian-born manager left his role as the head coach of the club on mutual consent two years after his appointment.

Sources reveal that the 51-year-old will be paid a £6 million severance package for the final year of his contract.

The former Chelsea boss was said to have had an issue with his employers after suggesting plans to cut down his squad in spite of their achievement according to Sky Sports.
